Vibration Sensors

Optoi vibration and acceleration sensors are based on a MEMS transducer interrogated by a microcontroller, which provides a suitable output using an algorithm. These inertial sensors are highly resistant to mechanical shocks and weathering thanks to their anodised metal casing.

Features

  • Dual axes
  • Internal 6 order hardware filter, 5Hz flatness
  • Wide analog outputs span 0.25 - 9.75V
  • Double alarm switch on each axis
  • Rugged device: fully metal case filled with protective resin
  • Resistant to electrical disturbs and transients
  • Power supply inversion internal protection
  • Operating temperature -40°C to +85°C
  • IP67 protection grade

What is the purpose of a vibration sensor?

Optoi vibration sensors are built on MEMS technology, which is used to control and monitor vibrations, shocks and impacts in industrial machines, wind towers or the transport of sensitive goods. These sensors are also suitable for integration into analysis systems for predictive maintenance. The primary fields of application are, therefore, industrial and mobility.
