Operation and Applications
The main applications of optical single position sensors are centre or end-of-stroke measurement on steering cylinders, stabilisers, and telescopic cylinders. Unlike absolute position sensors, optical single position sensors measure a single point on the stroke of a hydraulic cylinder and thus pinpoint the exact position of the axle.
